As we’ve reached the two-thirds point of the year, let’s talk about the secondary channels for the last couple networks, notably SBS Inkigayo and SBS ZOOM.

First, why do groups do so many music shows? Because music show performances promote the song.

Also, it’s for secondary videos that have a chance to go viral. The secondary videos from K music shows are as important as the main video performances. Sometimes they’re on the same channel and sometimes, they’re on a secondary channel.

Sunday - SBS’ Inkigayo has an official secondary channel. But, they post full cams on the main channel. But, they post all fan cams and face cams, on the secondary channel, which is why they call it “Zoom”. They’ll also do “One Take Stages” on the main channel.
