The Show Episode 385
SBS FunE’s The Show (Episode 385) started off the week, Tuesday, with one of the better music shows of the year due to the quality of the performances that were shown. It does seem like a new strategy was set for 2025. First, drop music on Monday as usual. Next, skip Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s music shows. Then promote for two weeks while still skipping Wednesday and Tuesday’s The Show. Finally, on the third week, comeback on The Show. ifeye dropped music on Tuesday July 15, skipped The Show for two weeks and this is the first time they’ve performed on The Show for this comeback.
Speaking of ifeye, they performed their comeback “r u ok?” for the first time on The Show. They all shined during the performance due to the fact that this is their third week of promotions for this comeback. They all wore similar outfits with a white top, but Won Hwayeon, the vocalist and center, shined a little more due to her pink/strawberry blonde hair. Also, she sang the hell out of the line, “Just keep me spinning Monday to Sunday” just like music shows, Tuesday to Sunday! Also, Taerin, the main dancer, shined a bit more due to her dancing and stage presence. Overall, great performance from ifeye. Stan ifeye!
Next, two nugu groups performed.
Finally, PURPLEKISS performed their comeback “DOREMI” (musical scale “Do-Re-Mi”). They all shined during the performance. Yuki, the only Japanese member, shined a bit more with her jet black wavy hair, and singing well even though she’s the main rapper. Her experience on Queendom Puzzle has helped her shine, as she won a spot on EL7UP. Also, Na Goeun, the main vocalist, shined a little more as always, since she has the main vocal parts and she sings the hell out of them. Also, she was a contestant on Produce 48 so that experience must have guided her and molded her. Finally, Yuki was the first ending fairy, giving us a double wave bye, and then crossing hands into W guns, one shooting at the audience, and one shooting to the side. Na Goeun was the last ending fairy, giving us a one-hand T crying, then gathering with all the members into a group hug with waves, hearts, and peace signs.
