Inkigayo - Episode 1277
SBS’ Inkigayo (Episode 1277) finished off the weekend, Sunday, with one of the better music shows of the year due to the quantity and quality of the performances that were shown. With Wednesday’s and Thursday’s music shows being recap shows w/o live performances, Inkigayo was the third music show this week and it didn’t disappoint. It does seem like a new strategy was set for 2025. First, drop music on Monday as usual. Next, skip Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s music shows. Then with Thursday’s music show paused, promote for two weeks while still skipping Tuesday and Wednesday. Finally, in the third week, comeback on Tuesday and Wednesday. ICHILLIN is trying this strategy. ICHILLIN released music on Thursday July 31, 2025 and this performance on Aug 3, 2025 is only their third one.
Speaking of ICHILLIN, they performed their comeback “XL (Extra Love)”. E.Ji, their leader, shined, being the only one in all blue. The whole group was also the last ending fairy. STAN ICHILLIN!
Next, SAYMYNAME performed their comeback “ILY”. Hitomi, their leader and former IZONE member, shined more since she has the most experience out of all the members. Also, they used Hitomi’s photo as the thumbnail of the video. Also, Hitomi got the final ending fairy, with flying mini-hearts, to one big double handed heart, and dancing with the heart. STAN SMN!
Next, YVES performed her comeback “White cat”. She dropped music on Thursday July 24, so the first performance ten days later is a different strategy. Of course, Yves shined so much with shiny tall boots and her performance was so captivating. STAN YVES!
Finally, STAYC performed their comeback “I Want It”. All the members shined in this second performance of their second week of promotions. But Seeun, the vocalist, shined a bit more due to her red hair shining amid their all white outfits. They also used her pic as the thumbnail for the yt video. She was also the last ending fairy, giving us a fan of herself and giving us a cheek heart. STAN STAYC!
