Show Music Core - Episode 910
MBC’s Show Music Core (Episode 910) started off the true weekend, Saturday, with one of the better music shows of the year due to the quantity and quality of the performances that were shown. With Wednesday’s and Thursday’s music shows being recap shows w/o live performances, Show Music Core was the second music show this week and it didn’t disappoint. It does seem like a new strategy was set for 2025. First, drop music on Monday as usual. Next, skip Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s music shows. Then with Thursday’s music show paused, promote for two weeks while still skipping Tuesday and Wednesday. Finally, in the third week, comeback on Tuesday and Wednesday. ICHILLIN is trying this strategy. ICHILLIN released music on Thursday July 31, 2025 and this performance on Aug 2, 2025 is only their second one.
Speaking of ICHILLIN, they performed their comeback “XL (Extra Love)”. E.Ji, their leader, shined in silver boots. E.Ji was also the last ending fairy, playing with her lemon colored left earring, putting her chin on her right hand, and giving the audience an air kiss. STAN ICHILLIN!
Next, SAYMYNAME performed their comeback “ILY”. They dropped music on Friday, so this is only their second music show performance. And only the second overall for Shuie, their only Chinese member, who joined only one month ago. Hitomi, their leader and former IZONE member, shined more since she has the most experience out of all the members. Also, they used Hitomi’s photo as the thumbnail of the video. Also, Hitomi got the final ending fairy, putting her chin in her palm and smiling widely to the audience. STAN SMN!
Finally, STAYC performed their comeback “I Want It”. All the members shined in this second performance of their second week of promotions. But Seeun, the vocalist, shined a bit more due to her red hair matching the theme color for their outfits of fire engine red. They also used her pic as the thumbnail for the yt video. She was also the first ending fairy, giving us a swipe of the brow and a laugh. STAN STAYC!
