Show Champion Episode 563
MBC’s Show Champion (Episode 563) started off the mid-week, Wednesday, with an ok music show due to only having half the amount of performances than the weekend music shows. It does look like a new strategy was set for 2025. Groups will drop music on Monday or Wednesday, skip Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s music shows, and start on Thursday or Friday’s music show. Some groups will go on the second week, some will go the third week, and some will skip the early week shows altogether. First, VIVIZ showcased new music on Monday last week, but today’s Show Champion was the first time they performed on Show Champion.
First, Baby DONT Cry (BDC) continued their debut promotions and performed “F Girl”. Yihyun, the leader, shined the most due to her musicality and stage presence, giving us a lot of emotion in her face. Also, she was one of four final ending fairies, giving us a wave and a shared heart. Also, after not performing on Tuesday and Wednesday, this will be another week where they performed on all music shows of the week.
Next, Rescene, this time with their leader, Woni back, performed their comeback “Deja Vu”. Woni was out for one day due to health issues. However, Minami, the only Japanese member, shined again due to her musicality and stage presence. Although all four wore similar outfits, Minami shined brighter. Also, after skipping two weeks of Tuesday and Wednesday music shows, Rescene is finally performing all week.
Finally, H1-Key continued their comeback promotions and performed “Summer was you”. Although all members were in a yellow top, Riina shined the most, probably due to her experience on “Produce 48” and “Queendom Puzzle”. Although she didn’t win, she seems to shine more since her debut. H1-KEY are my keys to music shows, since they’ve performed on all music shows for the past three weeks.
