Show Champion Episode 562
MBC M’s Show Champion (Episode 562) started off the true mid-week, Wednesday, with one of the better music shows of the year. It does seem like a new strategy was set for 2025. First, drop music on Monday as usual. Next, skip Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s music shows. Then promote for two weeks while still skipping Wednesday and Tuesday’s The Show. Finally, on the third week, debut or comeback on Show Champion. This is what both Rescene & Baby DONT Cry did.
First, Baby DONT Cry debuted for the first time on Show Champion and performed two tracks, their debut title track “F Girl” and their pre-debut track “Bet You’ll Regret It”. They even got an interview! Yihyun, their leader, stood out during the interview, her stage presence for both performances, her beret on the title track performance, her photo as the thumbnail for the title track, and for the first ending fairy, giving us a drawn heart, a surprised face, a finger near her face, and sticking her tongue out.
Then, Rescene continued their comeback into the second week and performed “Deja Vu”. They skipped Show Champion last week, so they put on a great first performance. Minami, the only Japanese member, stood out for her stage presence gained from her experience on “MTG”. Also, she was the first ending fairy, giving us a wave, a deja vu sign, and a wink.
Finally, H1-KEY performed their comeback “Summer was you”. All four members, Seoii, Yel, Hwiseo, and Riina, stood out. Seoii, the leader, stood out with a yellow top. Yel, the maknae, stood out in an orange top. Hwiseo, the winner of “Queendom Puzzle”, stood out in a pastel blue top. Riina, participant in “Queendome Puzzle” and “Produce 48”, stood out in a pink top and Show Champion using her pic as the thumbnail. Also, I credit all of them and their team for promoting on every music show for the past three weeks, while dropping music on a Thursday.
