Inkigayo Episode 1273
SBS’ Inkigayo (Episode 1273) finished the weekend, Sunday, with one of the best music shows of the year due to the quantity and quality of the group's performances. Young Seo and KIOF performed in this show. Most groups will perform on Saturday’s and Sunday’s music show and won’t skip it. So today’s music show really was a reflection of music in SK.
First, USPEER finished their debut promotions and performed their debut title track “ZOOM”. All the members stood out with all of them wearing black and white with USPEER on their tops. It looks like WM, their agency, has gone all out for their debut. Yeowon, their leader, and Soee, the lead vocalist, stood out a bit more due to their musicality and stage presence. Soee even got to be the final ending fairy giving us a double hand wave bye, then tears, and double wave bye again. She also had a sad face since this was their last performance.
Next, Baby DONT Cry continued their debut promotions and performed two songs, their debut title track “F Girl” and their pre-debut track “Bet you’ll regret it”. They’re one of the groups that dropped music on Monday, skipped Tues and Wed, and promoted Thurs-Sun. An interesting strategy by P Nation with their first girl group. Out of all the members, Yihyun, their leader, stood out due to her musicality and stage performance. Yihyun also was the final ending fairy, giving us her face hiding behind two hands, then popping out, and giving us a kiss.
Then, fromis9 performed their comeback track “LIKE YOU BETTER”. All five members stood out due to their experience and winning on the survival show “Idol School”. But Jiwon, who went through “Idol School” and “Nineteen”, the show that formed Twice, stood out a bit more since they used Jiwon’s pic as the thumbnail for the video. Also, she got the ending fairy, giving us a hair flip and a wave goodbye.
Next, H1-Key performed their comeback track “Summer Was You”. This group also dropped music on Monday, but didn’t start promotions until Thursday and then did all shows Thursday to Sunday. All four members stood out with Hwiseo and Riina standing out a bit more due to their experience on Queendom Puzzle. Riina stood out even more than Hwiseo, since they used her pic as the thumbnail and she got the ending fairy, giving us a point and saying in Korean that she missed us. She really has grown up since her time on Produce48 as a WM trainee.
Then, Hearts2Hearts performed their comeback track “STYLE”. Due to a schedule, they skipped Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s music show. Carmen, the only Indonesian member was the thumbnail for the video and gave us the first ending fairy, with a two-handed heart, a wink, then a blown kiss with the hand, and a claw wave bye.
Next, KIIRAS performed their debut B-side “ZILLER”. This group also skipped Tuesday and Wednesday music shows. Ling Ling, the only Malaysian member, stood out due to her musicality and stage presence. She gained a lot from her experience on “ILAND2”.
Then, izna performed their comeback track “BEEP”. All six members stood out due to their experience on “ILAND2”. Bang Jeemin, their leader, stood out a bit more due to her musicality and stage presence. You can tell she was on two survival shows, “ILAND2” and “RU NEXT”. I’m hoping we get some collabs with Ling Ling from KIIRAS since they were all on “ILAND2”.
Finally, ILLIT performed their comeback track “Do the Dance”. All five members stood out due to their experience and winning on “RU NEXT”. Yunah, their leader, stood out a bit more due to her height and her outfit, being the only one wearing a tie. Also, I hope to see some reactions to ILLIT members to Bang Jeemin from izna. And, then we got it! ILLIT won the show and Yunah hugged Bang Jeemin!
