Show Music Core Episode 904
MBC’s Show Music Core continued the weekend with one of the best music shows of the year due to how many groups performed. First, Primrose and KIOF performed. Next, USPEER continued their debut promotions by performing their title track “ZOOM”. Yeowon, the leader, stood out due to her having a blue and grey outfit without any orange or red, like the other members. Also, she was the first ending fairy where she flipped her hair and tilted her head. Then, HITGS continued their quick comeback promotions of their single “GROSS”. VV, the only Chinese member, stood out for her height and being the only one in black socks. Also, she was the first ending fairy with double flying hands to her cheeks to make hearts.
Next, ARTMS performed their comeback title track “Icarus”. ARTMS, who are five members from the former group Loona, HeeJin, HaSeul, Kim Lip, JinSoul, Choerry, all stood out. They did have another comeback in late March, but the track was called “Burn” which was correctly delayed due to the wildfires in the country. Although all members stood out, JinSoul and Heejin, stood out a bit since they were the ending fairies for the performance. Then, ITZY performed their comeback title track “Girls Will Be Girls” and the B-side “Kiss & Tell”. All members of ITZY, Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryoung, Lia, and Yuna stood out. Although all members stood out, Yuna, the maknae, stood out a bit more since they used her pic as the thumbnail for “Girls Will Be Girls”. And, Yuna was the first ending fairy giving us a brush of her hair and a kiss.
Next, KIIRAS continued their debut promotions by performing their title track “KILL MY BO$$”. This performance stood out for its country western stylings and musicality. Ling Ling, the only Malaysian member, stood out for her outfit of a bright red shirt and her facial camera work. Also, she was the ending fairy, giving us a pointing gun into the air into a monster claw into a wave. During the performance, Ling Ling caught the camera almost every time and this is probably due to her experience as a contestant on the survival show I-Land2. Speaking of I-Land2, izna performed their comeback title track “BEEP” and it rocked the stage. All the members stood out, with all getting fancams and even getting an interview. But Bang Jeemin stood out a bit more. Bang Jeemin, the leader, stood out for her performance and being the first ending fairy, blowing a kiss. She gives great performances since she’s been on two survival shows, “R U Next” and “I-Land 2” where she debuted with izna. Congrats to all the former contestants and performers!
