Mnet’s M Countdown started the pre-weekend with one of the best shows of the year. First, Primrose and KIOF performed. Then, R.E.D, a Chinese group, debuted with “DIAMONDS”. Then, USPEER debuted with “ZOOM”. All the members stood out for their first performance on M Countdown. Next, HITGS performed their instant comeback “GROSS”. They finished their debut promotions three weeks ago and had a comeback in two weeks, which is the fastest this year or last year. VV stood out on this comeback since she had short hair in early performances and now has long luxurious hair. VV, who’s the only Chinese member, is also the tallest so that’s also why she stands out. Then, ITZY performed their comeback title track “Girls Will Be Girls” and their B-side “Kiss & Tell”. Next, Kiiras continued their debut with “KILL MY BO$$”. Ling Ling, the only Malaysian member, stood out because she’s the only one wearing a beanie. Also, she’s the best performer due to her experience as a contestant on I-Land2. Also, there may be some short form collabs between former I-Land2 contestants. Speaking of I-Land2, Izna, who were the winning group from I-Land2, performed their comeback title track “BEEP”. Izna even got one of the two interview spots, and the only girl group to get it. Both Bang Jeemin and Mai stood out. Mai stood out for being the only one in a high pony hairstyle and being the second to last ending fairy and giving us a poke and then drawing a heart. Bang Jeemin, who was also a contestant on R U Next, stood out for being the leader and being the final ending fairy with her serving something, and Mnet digitally inputting hearts.
