Music Bank - Episode 1259
KBS’ Music Bank (Episode 1259) started off the weekend, Friday, with one of the best music shows of the year due to the amount and quality of performances. Also, since Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s music shows were cancelled, Music Bank was only the second music show of the week for some groups. First, Queenz Eye, Yves, and Yena performed.
Next, ifeye performed their comeback “r u ok?”. Won Hwayeon shined more due to her strawberry blonde hair put up in a top knot with curls on the bottom. They also used her pic as the thumbnail in both videos. Won Hwayeon was also the final ending fairy, giving us double tiger claws with a roaring face, then a twirl of her hair with a kiss, and finally a wry smile.
Then, SAYMYNAME performed their comeback “ILy”. Shuie, the new Chinese member who joined one month ago, shined in both performances due to being shy. Also, Shuie was the only one with a red top which made her stand out.
Next, ICHILLIN performed their comeback “XL”. They dropped this song on Thursday, Jul 31, this is only their second week of promotions, and this is their second performance on Music Bank. E.Ji , their leader, shined due to her musicality and stage presence. Also, she shined more due to wearing a fruit, strawberry, earring only on her left ear.
Finally, KiiiKiii performed their comeback “Dancing Alone”. They just dropped this song a day before on Thursday, Aug 7, 2025. So this is a new strategy and it might work due to the good reception of the song. Due to just dropping this song, KiiiKiii also got an interview and a dance challenge with Minju from ILLIT who’s the host of Music Bank. Jiyu, the leader, shined, due to her musicality and stage presence. Also, she wore a striped green top and lime green shorts. Her hair is longer than the bob cut she had during their debut, but was just a little bit longer. All members got ending fairies, but Jiyu was the final ending fairy, pointing at her bracelet, mouthing “dancing alone”, swiping her hair, and giving a final double kiss to the camera.
