M Countdown - Episode 900
Mnet’s M Countdown (Episode 900) started off the mid-week, Thursday, with one of the best music shows of the year due to the amount and quality of performances. Also, since Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s music shows were a no show, M Countdown had to pull double duty as the start of the Kpop music show week and the anchor of the mid-week. M Count rocked due to being held at an outdoor venue in Boryeong as part of the city’s Mud Festival celebrations.
First, TripleS, QWER, MEOVV, and IZNA performed their past hits. IZNA stood out with their performance of “BEEP”. Bang Jeemin, their leader, shined by wearing a silk pink top and black pants. Let me know if you want a part two with TripleS, QWER, MEOVV, and more izna.
Next, ICHILLIN performed their comeback “XL”. They dropped this song on Thursday, Jul 31, this is only their second week of promotions, and this is their first performance on M Count. E.Ji , their leader, shined due to her musicality and stage presence.
Then, SAYMYNAME performed their comeback “ILy”. They also covered Twice’s “Alcohol Free”. Shuie, the new Chinese member who joined one month ago, shined in both performances due to being shy. They also used her pic as the thumbnail. Shuie was also the final ending fairy, giving us “I love u” turning into double guns, shooting and then a double handed heart.
Finally, KiiiKiii performed their comeback “Dancing Alone”. They just dropped this song on the same day, Thursday, Aug 7, 2025. So this is a new strategy and it might work due to the good reception of the song. Jiyu, the leader, shined more, due to her stage presence.
