M Countdown Episode 882
M Countdown kicked off the weekend music shows with some big surprises. First Ejel, Solar, and NiziU performed. Then Nmixx and StayC performed their comebacks “Know About Me” and “BeBe” respectively. StayC performed in all white out fits which made them stand out, especially with Sumin who had dyed her hair platinum blonde. Nmixx performed in all black outfits which also made them stand out. Bae stood out with her short platinum blonde hair. Also, rising rookie KiiiKiii performed their song “BTG”. Haum stands out due to her new brunette hair styling where she looks like someone new. That’s the reason why they used her on the Youtube thumbnail. Also, they’ve skipped Tuesday and Wednesday music shows so this seems to be a new strategy with new rookies. They were on radio shows this week so maybe this is the new strategy? Speaking of skipping shows, Izna finally performed their comeback song “Sign” after skipping music shows earlier in the week like KiiiKiii. But since they come from an Mnet talent survival show, they got one of the performance spots here and one of the coveted interview spots. Two weeks ago Izna’s leader Bang Ji-min did the “Hot” comeback challenge with Le Sserafim. Now, Chaewon leader of Le Sserafim, who is guest co-MC today, did the “Sign” challenge with Bang Ji-min, Mai, and KoKo. Also, Bang Ji-min pretended to be in a shampoo commercial. Although no one who performed won, Jennie with “Like Jennie” won again for a Triple Crown. Congratulations Jennie!
