Inkigayo Episode 1261

Inkigayo finished off a week full of surprises with some surprises of their own. First KiiiKiii with “I Do Me”, Say My Name with “ShaLala”, and Hearts2Hearts “The Chase” performed their songs in a row. Although not back-to-back, KiiiKiii and Hearts2Hearts were gesturing tears as this is the end of their promotions for their debut songs. Hopefully the 2 groups from Starship and SM respectively can use this friendly competition and propel both groups higher. Speaking of Say My Name, Hitomi former IzOne did great. Hopefully her popularity can still propel this super sophomore group to new heights. Next Illit promoting the Korean version of “Almond Chocolate” is a great idea. They did great on Inkigayo and I hope more Japanese songs from Korean ggs get a Korean version and performance on K music shows. Yeji from Itzy solo debuted with “Air” and Seulgi from Red Velvet had a comeback with “Baby, Not Baby”. Inkigayo interviewed them separately, so they had a chance to shine individually. But people will remember this promotional period where Yeji and Seulgi promoted their solos together. Finally, Le Sserafim had a comeback with “Hot” and “Come Over”. They did great and they perfectly wrapped up the surprises of the week.
